Vintage Calendars

When brainstorming on what to do for my calendar design I was lost, I am very interested in vintage things, going to thrift stores, and even referencing something that is old and making it my own in a new and fresh way. So having that in mind, I decided to do something like that for my calendar design. I looked through old calendar designs and it was made known that pin up girls were used often in the imagery to entice the viewer, but once I looked closer I noticed the text and how it was arranged and how it looked. Back in the day they didn’t have computers to make there calendars they used typewriters. And that is where I decided I would take old typewriters and make them look new and fresh, with my own design spin to it.
